I too am a devoted fan and was starting to think I was the only one!! Your page is terrific!! I was wondering if you have a contact address that he can be sent mail at, e mail or snail mail... no I am not a psycho fan, I just collect autographed pics and would like to add to my collection :) again, great page!!! Thanks!!
Hey, I live near Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Michael was seen milling around Halifax a few weeks ago. Wonder what he was doing here....?
I have sent suggestions to A&E's programming dept. that they could perhaps develop projects with Mr. Moriarty, as so many of us truly enjoy his work. What could be better than his play about Thomas Merton? Perhaps all site visitors could make this suggestion at the A&E specials site. Also, again FYI, if Ben Stone isn't on [ A&E], I tune out. Thank you for beginning this.
[The MMUUUHP deals only with MM's career. - Debbie] I agree with you. That's why I like your site, btw, because it's not a gossip place, but a place where you discuss a person's career. Myself, being a guy, I don't care much about MM's life, but his work is interesting.
Just wanted to say that I was amazed to find a Michael Moriarty page on the web! I first became interested in Mr. Moriarty when I saw "Q" a few months back and since, I have been taping Law and Order religiously. There are a few things you can add to his filmography, such as "Reborn" from 1978 and "Sound of Murder" from 1982. Both are available on video, but may be out of print now. Also, he has appeared on NBC's Later program a few times when Bob Costas was host. I have one of those interviews on tape. Anyway, I'm adding his filmography to my web site in the next week or so and wondered if it would be ok to place a link to your site on mine? Let me know.
I just wanted to tell you I LOVED your page devoted to Mike...I became a fan of his when he played on LAW&ORDER...by the way I never heard the true reason why he quit..I was told NBC..didn't like him voicing his opinion on social issues...is that true...let me know... I would appreciate it if you would visit my web page..at http://www.midwest.net/scribers/nixon Please give me comments and suggestions on how I can improve my page... In the future I am going to add your page as a link....
Been jumping up & down since Monday to get back on and check out MMUUUHP, just did! Superb!!! Thanks for the HBO movie info, that one's been driving me nuts! How do you do it?
I was simply browsing through your page. The title of the Twilight Zone episode that M.M. acted is "20/20 Vision". Just thought that I'd help you out with that. [ Thanks! I reply to all comments but you didn't leave your address so I'll respond here. Again - Thanks!! Debbie :)]
Thanks for the info on the CUF Movieweb link. The updates are super, definitely 1st class. Are you sure you're not a private detective...you can certainly find the best places on the web?
Thanks for the info on Courage... and Winter Rain. As long time reader of Merton I thought MM would do a wonderful job. Any information on where I could purchase the video? Thanks. P.S. The "7 Story Mountain" is indeed a worthy read.
Super news about "White Rain"; haven't come across Thomas Merton in years.
Why does your Home page come up when I search Yahoo for information about MM? I would think the Official Fan club would come first. Doesn't seem appropriate to me! Can you rectify this or is it just a problem with Yahoo?
Just checked out your MMUUUHP again...and like fine wine, it just keeps getting better and better.
As always, you're doing a great job with the pages.
Thanks for the info on Bang the Drum Slowly. Love all the additions to your MMUUUHP site...it just gets better and better.
Great page! It's good to be able to learn more about this wonderful actor.Good luck and thanks for the page.
Will be glad to tape the May 28 interview in return for all you have done for us MM fans. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your getting information on MM's appearances out to us.
Thanks and more thanks for giving MM's fans the MMUUUHP. My first experience surfing the net and I found your site! You are doing a fantastic job and congratulations on your April 18 citation. I am just astonished at all the information you have gotten together and at your energy in getting it out to us. I'm really impressed. Thanks again.
MM is simply one of the best actors around, incredibly talented, highly intellegent, and obviously devoted to his craft. MM has a marvelous way with "phrasing" his lines, but even more I enjoy watching what he does to convey a character's feelings without words. For me, that is the real sign of a great performance, and MM delivers over and over again.
I always enjoying watching how he continues to play his part when the focus is on Schiff taking a phone call. MM doesn't just sit there; he continues "in part" even though he is in the background. MM is a marvelous craftsman that it is always a real pleasure to watch.
I love your efforts. Great stuff.
I have visited the MMUUUHP and it's not only excellent it's thorough. It's exactly what I need to keep current with MM. Thanks.
Your page is also a Great looking page, Michael Moriarty deserves no less. :) Is it me or are there very few Law and Order pages out on the web?
Thanks. Just happened to plug in MM's name and this great page came up. I still watch L&O, but it's just not the same. The ability to portray an ethical character who's not smarmy at the same time is a feat rarely seen on TV. I miss Ben Stone. The upcoming events are appreciated.
Fun site. I admit to being an L&O junkie. I find this obsession particularly troubling as I work as a court reporter all day only to come home to watch a work-related show! (Yeah, yeah ... Get a life -- I know!)
