These are the very first comments I received via e-mail. I hope you enjoy reading them. . Please send e-mail to: Debbie - to let me know what YOU think.
(From Ireland) Congratulations on the MM web pages. I'm a devoted fan of Law and Order, but it hasn't been the same since Ben Stone departed! MM made him into a very credible and interesting character - I'll rely on your pages to keep informed about movie appearances etc.
I too am a fan of M2. Love your page, keep up the good work.
Keep up the good work! It's great to get specifics of interviews, etc. in the bibliography, and updates on future work. MM's acting in L&O as Ben Stone we know to be excellent -- compelling, mesmerizing. Since becoming a fan from L&O I am now catching up on his past career and have not been disappointed in his acting in his other past vehicles. Oh, if we could only have him back again on a regular basis!.
Congratulations on the fan club page mention. I just noticed it in the newsgroup, and checked out your page tonight. Well done.
Thanks for putting together a great page. Please keep up the good work on MM's future releases. I discovered MM on L&O and since then I look for his other works.
Really like your home page on Michael Moriarity. He has been a favorite actor of mine since "Q". Broke my heart when he left Law and Order. It has not been the same since.
You never know, he [Michael] may want to thank you personally for the MMUUUHP!
(From France) I just visited your MM web page, and it is neat. The more I watch the show, the more I think MM/Ben Stone is a major actor/character and a very moral one. And we do need morality in this world. Keep the good work, your Web site is fun AND interesting AND informative. That's more than many other sites can brag about.
I have been a fan of MM for quite some time. I think one of his best performances was in Holocaust. Though he played what is considered a bad guy in the mini series, I think he played the role with dignity and courage. He deserved his Emmy. I started watching Law & Order since day one. Micheal 's work made me keep coming back.
Question! Did you get a color match for MM's eyes before you planned the color for this site? Law & Order just came on A&E and...yes, same color!!!
Your site has been awarded the "FanClub Site of the Day" for Thursday April 18, 1996. (I love Law & Order!) Thanks and enjoy!
I found your Michael Moriarty URL on the Law and Order forum and I just had to visit. It looks great! I noticed that in 1987 Michael was on the Board of Directors for NYQ with Judy Collins and Otto Preminger.
I Love the new "Bibliography" addition, it certainly adds greatly to the page.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the MMUUU Home Page. I've been looking for info on him for quite some time and was thrilled to find all this. Where does the man get his energy? Again -- Thank you.
Great website, and so tastefully done! Just the right info for us "closet" fans who don't have tons of time to go searching for it all over the internet. Thanks for putting the "Upcoming Performances" note in there. It's not easy finding out where Michael will be performing since he left L&O. Are you going to keep this aspect of the page going? Hope so. Keep up the good work.
I missed the Cagney & Lacey movie "True Convictions" so will be scanning the MMUUUHP frequently so as not to miss anything upcoming. Also, thanks to you, I now have a list to hit the video stores with.
I too find the Ben Stone character incredibly sexy. He is the only reason I watch the show. Again, thank you Debbie for all your work.
Great page, Deb! . Found the page thanks to the L&O list. Thanks from a MM fan!
Hi! My first time on the net and what do I find... MMUUUHP! GREAT! I too started watching Law & Order just to watch "blue eyes" at work, and does he ever know how to use those eyes. Think he knows just what he does to people with those eyes? I sure did hate to see him leave the show, but fortunately I can still catch re-runs on A & E. Love the page, and am really glad to see a tribute to such a great actor.
[From France] Among the "connaisseurs" around here (namely, people involved in writing about TV shows and who want them to be known), MM is considered "un acteur formidable" (do I have to translate ?). I especially enjoy the talks he and Adam Schiff have about the difficult issues they encounter. This is the master/student-father/son-elder/younger type of relationship I like, a very socratic one. And an awful lot of things come out of their talks and/or arguments. I think only two remarkable actors can say so much in so little time with such a technically difficult dialogue.
Hi! I visited your Michael Moriarty home page and enjoyed it very much. This has prompted me to ask whether there are other people who also find the character of Ben Stone to be extremely sexy. .
Wow! It's great to see Michael on the net!! He's the reason I started watching Law and Order in the first place.Great page!.
Visited the MMUUUHP today--wonderful work! It is a fine site with a clever name, good info, and an appealing design--I'd think that MM would be pleased. Terrific!
Pretty neat! I've been a confirmed Michael Moriarty fan ever since Bang the Drum Slowly. To this day I doubt there is another actor who could have played Arthur in Bang the Drum without ruining the show. Moriarty pulled it all together with a unique -- and absolutely accurate -- perspective. Thank you for the web site. It was interesting to learn more about him.
Congratulations on the birth of the MMUUUHP! I just perused it and it's wonderful. Exactly how many "hours of labor" were you in? I love that it's unofficial, unauthorized, etc. Great job!
