THE SELF-EVIDENT EXCEPTION

A Six-Year Record of Inevitable Victory

Boogie Jeff and No Place of Honor

Boogie Jeff is tall, the same height as His Excellency George Washington, standing behind us. Boogie’s a mulatto. He’s the "coolest" of us all, so American, so streetwise, so brilliant, so on top of everything, knows "all the players in the Rainbow," so to speak. Boogie Jeff can defuse any situation with a witticism laid on with a feather touch or a sledge-hammer. His voice can soothe or lift you to the rafters of a gospel cathedral, thunder down on you, or just plain have fun. He’s the best kind of man that Third Millennium America has to offer.

Had Boogie Jeff been raised in the military, he would have struck us all as William Colin Powell does: surgical in his military strategies, the least collateral damage possible, centered, aware, proud of his entire life and owned by no one or nothing except himself.

It’s Boogie Jeff who’ll read the lies and self-delusions on both sides of the "color line," so to speak. He’s clean, clear, fierce in his truth, can change styles depending on whom he’s talking to, straighten up a lost soul and humble an asshole.

I’ve seen him pull the leg of everyone here and do it with such joy, you can’t help but love him all the more. Nothing interrupts his freedom or the flow of his soul. Nothing.

Yes, a kind of Will Smith type. I hear that the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is thinking of running for President himself. I don’t see why not. Go for it, sir! But only if you are anti-abortion!

Not sure about that with Smith. He’s from Hollywood and, well, you know how they all just love "pro-choice."

So, instead of waiting around for Smith to make up his mind, Boogie Jeff attends strategy meetings and we have that corner covered, in a manner of speaking. He knows what the photo is all about: the conglomerate manhood of the English-speaking peoples, men of individual freedom and conscience living under the Golden Rule. He’s on it, as they say. He’s all over it.
