Andrew attended the Book Signing at The Book Room in Halifax on July 3, 1997. He shared this with me via e-mail:
Hi Debbie,
Glad to talk to you from the East Coast to the Midwest. My wife Janice, our two children, and I went to see and hear Michael Moriarty this evening at his book signing. It was terrific. He was set up in the middle of the Book Room with a keyboard. From there he played, read from his books and answered questions from the approximately 40 people that were gathered for the book launch.
I was completely unaware that this great actor had been residing in my city for the past 1 1/2 years!!!! We saw a short newsclip at 5 p.m. that mentioned the book signing and we wrapped the kids up and took them down to see him. I'm glad we went!!!!! We picked up his new edition, The Voyeur, and I am eager to read it as soon as my wife finishes it. She read the first 10-15 pages on the drive home tonight. He signed our copy after peeking in to look at my 1 month old daughter, Hannah. He commented on how much love he felt for his own son when he first saw him.....my wife was quite awestruck!!!!
We had to leave before the evening ended so I am not sure how things progressed after about 6:30 p.m. I hope that this little note is of some service to you and your devotees.
