Ottawa Life Magazine: You draw a comparison between yourself and Winston Churchill in his 'wilderness years' of the 1930s, when he tried to warn the Baldwin and Chamberlain governments about the Nazi threat and everyone thought he was nuts.
Michael Moriarty: Well, I have been in the wilderness, a personal one, for 52 years, and I always knew that my true vocation was not acting. I always sensed, you know, that dis-ease inside your heart where you know, this is not what you were meant to do, until Janet Reno was thrust upon me. Until she was thrust upon me, I didn't realize that my true job is what I'm doing now.
OLM: And that is?
MM: Well, God put me in the theatre to get me ready for the Devil. The Troika of Liberals, Socialists and Communists. Our politicians -- they don't believe in the truth, they believe in theatre. They're writing a play for the human race. No politician who doesn't know the theatre would understand what they are doing. This is a play, this is theatre and it's all been written by the same committee, and they have created so-called good guys and bad guys.
OLM: Do the bad guys win?
MM: No, the playwright wins, and the playwright is Karl Marx.
OLM: What is the major threat facing our society -- Canada and the U.S. -- that you're trying to warn people about?
MM: The Communist endgame. It has to happen within the next year and a half. The central chesspiece is Bill Clinton. If you have a so-called independent angry enemy called (Slobodan) Milosevic, the natural thing for anybody -- a two-year-old warrior would say, you strike your enemy when he's weakest. He's been ordered to start this game plan. This Troika plan to create a Vietnam in Europe. He attacked Bosnia (and later Kosovo).
Now suddenly, over the hill comes Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky. As they get closer to causing troubles for Bill Clinton, the game plan is put on hold. When Clinton is weakest, Milosevic goes to the peace table. They've got to wait out the impeachment proceedings. Hillary's upset, not because of where Bill's dick is, but because he fucked the plan. The target of the plan is Wall Street. How do you destroy Wall Street, the last bastion of resistance to full Socialism? Well, to kill somebody off a cliff, the cliff's got to be pretty high, so you lift Wall Street up. The further they have to fall, the harder it'll be for them to get on their feet again. So you got Wall Street up now, well over 10,000 points.
How do you sell the miracle of 'growth without inflation'? Drop American industry's production costs by one half. Offer the Capitalists a slave/sweatshop labor force of 1.5 billion people in China and Vietnam. Advise the Capitalists to hire a few more Americans as well, so that the voters don't hear 'the sucking sound' of jobs heading south that (tycoon and former U.S. presidential candidate) Ross Perot warned them about.
OLM: So you're predicting a deliberately created economic depression.
MM: Well, I tell you, it's going to happen. It has to. See, here's the game. They've already sent in 33,000 American troops to await orders. Now, they've got to up the speed of it, because they were delayed by the impeachment proceedings. This plan was in operation during Bosnia (in the early 1990s), but they had to put it on hold because they almost lost their major chesspiece -- Clinton! Now they're back in full swing and they won't stop. They've passed the point of no return. It's going down in Kosovo.
Now, here's what's going to happen. The troops will go in, the war will proceed and it'll start looking like Vietnam. You're going to have American soldiers die. You're going to have My Lai massacres. You're going to have the kinds of incidents occur where the troops themselves start behaving like animals. And America's crisis of conscience continues. As they continue this war, the rhetoric out of Moscow and Beijing will increase in terms of their opposition to it. They'll say we oppose this war and it could mean World War Three. So we've got atomic bombs in the mix.
But that's not the worst news for Wall Street. They're going to do a Castro -- they'll nationalize all North American private enterprise inside Russia and China. This is the golden prize that Clinton gave them, this sweat shop labor. Now, I am not in Wall Street, but somebody better start crunching numbers about what might happen on Wall Street if China, Vietnam and Russia nationalize private industry, as a non-violent protest to the North American presence in Yugoslavia. They'll say, this is what we have to do to show you how serious we are. What's that going to do to Wall Street?
(Fidel) Castro took every American industry inside Cuba 40 years ago. Now, almost 40 years after Castro nationalized every industry in Cuba, Wall Street never thought it could happen to them. The extent and depth to which North American industry has gotten itself into China, only China knows. Here is the interesting thing about the numbers. It's not just the money they're making now, it's the projections. Every year, you hear governments project a surplus coming in. They talk about money they haven't even seen yet. They say, we are going to have a surplus of $300 million. The money is not even in yet! The industries of North America are projecting what this unending stream of cheap labor will mean five, 10, 15, 20 years down the line. That's how sick the moral center of North America is. We'll enjoy the profits of slavery as long as the slaves are in another country. We've erased the meaning of the U.S. Civil War. So, we all have dirty hands and there's a certain justifiable pain that will have to be paid.
OLM: How will America react to this?
MM: Wall Street goes into the biggest crash it's ever seen. We'll have a worldwide depression and a national emergency.
OLM: And this will happen in the next year-and-a-half?
MM: It has to be before 2001. They have to do it before Clinton is out of office.
OLM: So we'll be reeling from the Y2K mess…
MM: Which is really small compared to this. They've already warned you about something that I am sure the Communists are encouraging. They'd love to fuck up the free world's computer systems. And they've already warned you that it won't be the Communists' fault. It's this thing called Y2K. And meanwhile, the operatives inside these businesses who are on payroll to Beijing say -- well, they talk about the 'Chernobyl' virus that is going to run through the entire computer system of the free world.
OLM: So it's not their lack of Y2K preparedness that is going to be the problem. They're not going to infect all the other systems because they're not ready. What you're saying is this is a deliberate Communist attack on our information technology.
MM: Absolutely! And they get you ready for it so you don't blame them. They say: 'Oh, this is just a problem with the computer system.' This is the way they blame anybody else but themselves. The International Communist Party never gave up the dream. If America truly believes that Reagan won the Cold War, they're idiots. The Russian Communists have rolled over and played dead. They're all playing possum, and Communists never work better than when they work in disguise. That's when they really get their work done. They pass themselves off as Liberal, Democratic Socialists. If you think for one fleeting second that Russian Communism is dead, it's more alive and thriving than ever, because they've lost the label.
This little peace-seeking charade by the Russians in Yugoslavia is to instill in the audience that these are the good guys. They know that nothing will persuade Milosevic to stop because he's been ordered not to stop. Nothing will stop Clinton from pouring more troops into Yugoslavia, nothing will stop this crisis and this Vietnam in Europe, because out of it will come the justification for Russia, China and Vietnam to nationalize all North American branch plants in those countries. They'll say, you want them back, hand over Taiwan and South Korea. The least the Communists figure they're going to get are Taiwan and South Korea. That, they're pretty sure about, but they have to make the move while Clinton is in office, because he won't lift a finger to stop them.
